Alberta Ferretti Appoints Alexandra Lamprecht as First General Manager

Tasked With Overseeing Brand Growth, Lamprecht Will Focus On Expanding Into International Markets

Alberta Ferretti has appointed Alexandra Lamprecht as its first-ever general manager, a newly created role aimed at driving brand growth with an emphasis on global expansion. Lamprecht will work alongside creative director Lorenzo Serafini to steer the brand forward, reporting to Aeffe Group President Massimo Ferretti.

“A seasoned manager with a wealth of experience from globally recognized luxury brands such as Ferragamo, Valentino, and Etro, Lamprecht will be instrumental in leading Alberta Ferretti’s new growth phase,” said the company in an official statement.

Massimo Ferretti expressed confidence in the appointment, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Alexandra to our team. Her two-decade career in luxury, combined with her dynamic approach, will be crucial in guiding Alberta Ferretti into a new growth phase under Lorenzo Serafini’s creative direction. With Alexandra’s arrival, we have a capable, ambitious, and energetic team poised to write a new chapter for the brand.”

Lamprecht herself noted her enthusiasm for joining the group, saying, “I am thrilled and honored to join Aeffe Group. I thank the Ferretti family for their trust and look forward to working with Lorenzo Serafini and the Alberta Ferretti team to usher in a new era of growth, building on the brand’s heritage of authentic Italian luxury.”

The appointment follows recent changes in the creative direction at Alberta Ferretti. Alberta Ferretti, the brand’s founder, stepped down as creative director, passing the role to Lorenzo Serafini, who joined Aeffe in 2014 as the creative director of Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini. Serafini will debut his first collection for Alberta Ferretti in February 2025.

Aeffe Group, listed on the Euronext Star Milan market, operates in the luxury sector with brands including Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, Moschino, and Pollini. For the six-month period ending June 30, Aeffe reported consolidated revenues of €138.6 million, a 14.6 percent decrease at constant exchange rates from €162.9 million in 2023. Consolidated EBITDA amounted to €0.4 million, down from €8.5 million the previous year, while the group posted a net loss of €20.4 million compared to €11.7 million in 2023.
