The Los Angeles luxury house continues its partnership with the Spanish football club, introducing tailored suits, leather outerwear, and accessories for players and executives
Amiri is continuing its partnership with FC Barcelona, unveiling a second season of official formalwear designed for the club’s players and leadership. The latest collection builds on the relationship between the Los Angeles-based luxury house and the Spanish football club, introducing a winter wardrobe that combines Italian tailoring, sportswear influences, and design details drawn from Barcelona’s sporting and cultural heritage.
For the new season, the players’ wardrobe centers on a tailored suit in multi-striped grey wool, referencing the vertical stripes of FC Barcelona’s traditional kits. The double-breasted, two-button jacket features peaked lapels accented by a nickel MA pin, while slightly flared trousers introduce a more relaxed proportion. A striped Oxford shirt in cotton-blend poplin and a garnet silk-twill tie complete the look, incorporating one of the signature colors of the club’s blaugrana identity.

The collection’s most prominent departure from traditional formalwear comes in the form of a garnet lambskin leather blouson. Designed with a shirt collar and a relaxed sportswear silhouette, the jacket features an embossed FC Barcelona crest across the chest and back. Its detailing incorporates symbols associated with the club and its Catalan heritage, including the Saint George’s Cross, the Senyera flag, and a vintage-inspired football. The piece brings Amiri’s established interest in leather craftsmanship and contemporary American sportswear into conversation with the club’s visual identity.
The partnership also extends to FC Barcelona’s executives and leadership, whose wardrobe takes a more understated approach. Steel-grey suiting in a compact wool blend is cut into single-breasted, one-button jackets with peaked lapels and classic-fit trousers. White cotton-poplin Oxford shirts and garnet silk ties establish continuity with the players’ attire, while double-breasted wool overcoats provide an additional layer of formality. Accessories include a travel duffle, dopp kit, and leather belt, finished with Amiri’s MA Quad Monogram or signature hardware.

“Fashion and football share a powerful connection through creativity, individuality, and the art of self-expression,” said founder and creative director Mike Amiri. He emphasized the shared importance of craftsmanship, precision, and the relationship between heritage and modernity, identifying those qualities as central to the continuing collaboration.
Joan Soler i Ferré, vice president of FC Barcelona’s commercial area, similarly highlighted the partnership’s ability to communicate the club’s identity beyond the pitch. He described the latest designs as an expression of the relationship between Amiri’s contemporary approach to tailoring and the traditions of the club, Barcelona, and Catalonia.
The second season reflects the growing intersection of luxury fashion and professional sport, where official team wardrobes have become an increasingly visible platform for brand identity. For Amiri, the partnership provides an opportunity to extend its tailoring and lifestyle offering into the international sporting arena, while FC Barcelona gains a formalwear identity that connects its established heritage with contemporary fashion. Together, the two organizations continue to explore how clothing can express the cultural influence of football beyond competition itself.
