Bottega Veneta Opens New Store in Aspen

Discover the brand’s annual partnership with Aspen Art Museum, kicking off with a visionary exhibition curated by Urs Fischer

Bottega Veneta is set to make a statement in Aspen, Colorado, with the grand opening of its inaugural store on East Hyman Avenue on December 1st. Embracing the natural beauty of the surroundings, the store features Aspen wood veneer ceilings and a serene color palette of white, cream, grey, and beige. Inspired by the region’s nature, the displays draw from tree formations, and seating areas mimic the organic shapes of rocks. The interior, adorned with luxurious bouclé fabrics, prioritizes warmth and comfort, including a cozy conversational space at the rear.

In tandem with the boutique launch, Bottega Veneta embarks on a creative partnership with the Aspen Art Museum (AAM). This artist-founded institution, accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, is renowned for its commitment to contemporary art and community engagement. The collaboration kicks off with an annual sponsorship, beginning with an exhibition curated by Swiss artist Urs Fischer. Titled “John Chamberlain: THE TIGHTER THEY’RE WOUND, THE HARDER THEY UNRAVEL,” the showcase, running from December 14, 2023, to April 7, 2024, promises a vibrant exploration of Chamberlain’s influential sculptural work. Fischer’s unique vision adds a layer of contemporary reflection to the exhibition across three floors of the museum.
