Cecilie Bahnsen and Asics SportStyle introduced the Cecilie Bahnsen and Asics Launch Gel-Quantum™ 360 I sneaker as the next release in their ongoing collaboration, with availability beginning online and at Bahnsen’s Copenhagen boutique, followed by a wider global launch through Asics and selected retailers on April 24, 2026.

The design reworks Asics’ Gel-Quantum™ 360 silhouette into a slip-on, lace-less construction, focusing on ease of wear and functional performance. The updated model reflects a pared-back approach, with an emphasis on structure, material balance, and streamlined form, aligning with both brands’ focus on everyday movement and wearability.

“Though the shoe appears minimal, almost effortless in its expression, it has in fact been the most intricate to refine,” said Cecilie Bahnsen, Founder and Creative Director. “Beneath its simplicity lies a careful balance which leaves no place to hide, only the honesty of form and the quiet precision of function. Simplicity, when it is true, asks for more than decoration ever could.”

The collaboration integrates Bahnsen’s floral motif into the shoe’s construction, introducing a textured surface that contrasts with the performance-oriented base. The sneaker is offered in two colorways, black and pale pink, with the latter marking the first full soft pink iteration developed within the partnership.

Underfoot, the design retains Asics’ 360-degree Gel™ cushioning system, maintaining the model’s performance capabilities through impact absorption and support for extended wear. The development process focused on refining both comfort and structure while preserving the technical integrity of the original silhouette.

The campaign was shot in Devon, United Kingdom, featuring Florence Huntington-Whiteley in a residential setting. The imagery positioned the product within a lifestyle context, aligning with Asics’ broader brand messaging around movement and well-being.
