Fendi Ad Campaign Spring 2024

Fendi

Men's Summer 2024 Ad Campaign

Review of Fendi Men’s Summer 2024 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Silvia Venturini Fendi and Photographer Bruno Staub with models Nonso Ojukwu, Richard Grundins, and Wu Guoqiang

Fendi takes us back to where it all begins with its Men’s Summer 2024 campaign, which was shot at the Fendi factory near Florence by photographer Bruno Staub.

Presented in Florence as the designer spotlight at Pitti Uomo, the collection’s runway show was an ode to the Fendi factory, the Maison’s innovative hub in Capannuccia, outside Florence. A fresh take on a modern gentleman’s wardrobe intersected with clever reconsiderations of the workwear garments utilized by the leather artisans and tailors who craft the house’s collections.

The campaign continues this narrative, taking us back to the workshops and ateliers to put the collection in continued conversation with the place it was crafted. Staub’s compositions strikingly respond to the industrial lines and lights of the space, framing the fresh spring colors and relaxed refinement of this seasonal incarnation of Silvia Venturini Fendi’s always on-point vision for the Fendi man.

It’s rare to get a look at the production process behind a luxury collection, yet this craft is so much a part of what Fendi is – so it’s a smart and exciting move that this runway show took us behind the scenes a bit. It’s such a strong story that it also feels exactly right for the brand to extend the seasonal narrative across the campaign as well, and the process and final product beautifully come together for an ode to well-crafted style.
