Former Gucci SVP Benjamin Cercio Launches Communications Agency Bencercio

Luxury sector veteran establishes boutique firm offering tailored brand building and communication services

Benjamin Cercio, who previously served as senior vice president of global communications at Gucci, has launched his own agency, Bencercio. The boutique firm will offer specialized services in brand building, positioning, communication, entertainment, influence marketing, social media, and partnerships. It is aimed at luxury, fashion, beauty, jewelry, and watch companies.

Cercio emphasized the industry’s need for personalized consulting services, stating, “Visibility relies on so many touchpoints — I want to offer a highly personalized service,” drawing on his 18 years of experience in the field. His career includes previous roles at Louis Vuitton before joining Gucci, where he worked with top industry figures such as Nicolas Ghesquière, Virgil Abloh, and Alessandro Michele, as well as CEOs Michael Burke and Marco Bizzarri.

Leveraging his extensive international connections across social media, press, talents, and culture, Cercio’s goal with Bencercio is to help companies define and achieve their brand strategies. His new venture aligns with a trend of senior executives in luxury communications launching independent agencies, including Julien Dufour’s Spread the Word and Youssef Marquis’ agency Marquis.

Based in Paris, Cercio plans to expand his team and work with clients globally through Bencercio.
