The soft pastel color of lilac continued to trend on the runway during Fall 2022 fashion shows.
Not always the dominant color in collections but always a stand out, a hint of lilac at Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, and Supriya Lele made a statement.
A spectrum of violet shades were seen from the palest of lilac at Paul Smith to deeper shades at Khaite. Off-White used lilac as an accent shade as well as for all over suiting. Richard Quinn and Carolina Herrera used lilac juxtaposed with bolder purple tone in prints. These pale tones are a great way to create a calming and peaceful presence as shown by Courrèges, Collina Strada and Jil Sander.
