The imagery draws on the beautiful scenery of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil – both the natural power of its forests and mountains and the man-made structures among them. The Casa das Canoas by the pioneering Brazilian Oscar Niemeyer plays a central role, with the characters embracing a mood of tranquility as they reflect among its modernist curves and lines. From here, they venture out into the landscape, where canopies of green trees frame the rich fabric textures of the collection.
Loro Piana has a knack for always picking excellent campaign locations, but it also does good work to tie the character of these eclectic destinations back into its own design presence. Here, the intersection of architecture and landscape underscores the house’s synthesis of a reverence for the finest natural fibers with modern design, and the result is a lush portrait of luxury in motion.
