The Top 10 ‘Standout’ Shows Paris Fashion Week Spring 2023

Not only did Spring 2023 feel like a return to full form for the fashion calendar at large following a few hybrid seasons overshadowed by pandemic precautions, but it was a stirring affirmation that the future of fashion is in good hands. These exciting young talents are working to expand the conversation around design while carrying it forward into promising new territory.

S.S. Daley referenced an iconic queer romance through the love letters of Vita Sackville-West and Virginia Woolf, as well as the former’s dual legacies as writer and gardener, weaving together a poetic, historically minded wardrobe for today’s young lovers.

Ludovic de Saint Sernin continued his successful push into trendy and gender-fluid ready-to-wear, translating his origins as a queer-minded underwear cult phenomenon into a mainstream success story.

Ottolinger takes home our top spot for its collection that fused sportswear flexibility with avant-garde deconstruction and more than a touch of cheeky sex appeal.
