The Models Who Walked The Most Shows For Spring 2023
Fashion would be nothing without people to wear the clothes, and, while looking good in cool clothes might seem like an easy job, being a top runway model is no walk in the park. Our list of this season’s leading models features an exciting mix of familiar faces and newcomers, each of whom had a successful season with shows well into the double digits.
The season’s most impressive story was that of América González, who in just two seasons has gone from not even being represented in our top 20 to taking home the top spot with a staggering (not literally though, as she’s got poise to spare) 36 shows walked including Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, and Dior. But the Venezuelan-born model’s story wasn’t an overnight success, and actually started with a fundraising campaign to get her from Venezuela to Milan after she was scouted on Instagram. While the campaign only raised $200 from her family and friends, she was determined, and managed to get herself stateside and work her way up. Clearly her hard work as paid off, and she’s got a number one model spot to prove it.

Familiar faces like Sherry Shi, Anok Yai, Louise Robert, and Tanya Churbanova returned as well, continuing to flex their status as some of the most recognizable and hardest working names in the business.
Meanwhile, a crop of new names jumped up to our top 20, including our number 3 spot Rachel Marx, as well as the two mononymous young newcomers Rolf and Saunders. We look forward to seeing them continue to build on this exciting growth.
