Versace La Vacanza 2025 Ad Campaign by Photographer Zoë Ghertner with model Abby Champion
For Spring 2025, Versace sails home.
The La Vacanza 2025 campaign is a siren call to the House’s mythological roots, merging seafoam fantasy with urban polish in a journey from shore to city. Shot by Zoë Ghertner, the visuals chart a course between Grecian elegance and modern Mediterranean flair—sand dunes, marble columns, and indoor pools acting as altars to coastal opulence.
The women’s collection reimagines vacation dressing through a Versace lens: draped swimsuits become corseted gowns, while safety-pinned cowl-neck dresses shimmer with sea-glass sequins. Men’s looks riff on classic Versace archetypes—silk bowling sets, tailored gilets, and denim suiting cut with statuesque confidence. Underwater motifs from the House’s Trésors de la Mer archive are reborn as digital-age souvenirs: Medusa charms, coral theatre prints, and aquatic crystal embroideries.
Accessories dive deep into Versace’s mythos. The Tag bag returns in sea green and dragon fruit, while La Medusa totes glitter with marine-inspired patchworks. Footwear spirals around ankles like sea foam, and bold jewelry casts Medusa and seahorses in a shimmer of faux coral and gold.
But this isn’t just fantasy dressing. Versace ties its oceanic aesthetic to a tangible cause, partnering with Coral Gardeners to adopt 9,000 coral fragments in French Polynesia. Customers can even track the growth of their own coral through a digital platform—a poetic extension of the House’s ongoing devotion to biodiversity and beauty.
In La Vacanza, Versace proves that luxury can be both lavish and conscious, casting glamour ashore in a collection that’s as dreamy as it is deeply grounded.
