WWD Names Eugenia Miranda Richman Editor-In-Chief

Joining from SheKnows, Richman is Tasked with Continuing the Platform’s Digital Evolution and Diversity Efforts

WWD has appointed Eugenia Miranda Richman as its Editor-in-Chief, effective January 16. Richman, who formerly held the position of Editor-in-Chief at SheKnows, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the digital media landscape to her new role.

As Editor-in-Chief, Richman will take charge of overseeing WWD’s editorial team, focusing on the continuous development of its business content. Her responsibilities extend to guiding the evolution and expansion of WWD’s web, print, social, video, and e-commerce initiatives, aligning with the brand’s mission to foster connections within the global fashion, retail, and beauty industries through insightful news and analysis. Richman will report to James Fallon, the editorial director of WWD and Fairchild Media Group.

Prior to her work at SheKnows (which is also owned by WWD parent Penske Media Corp.), where she helped to double the publication’s readership, Richman held editorial leadership positions at Fairchild Media’s Footwear News, Vogue.com, xoJane.com, Café Media, and Diverse: Issues in Higher Education, as well as contributing to publications such as to publications such as InStyle, Billboard, Marie Claire.
