le PÈRE Opens New Boutique on Melrose Avenue

Los Angeles Location Extends Brand’s Bi-Coastal Presence

le PÈRE, the menswear brand known for redefining modern masculinity, has announced the opening of its new boutique on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Building on the success of its New York flagship, the West Hollywood store continues the brand’s focus on fostering creativity and community while offering an immersive space for fashion and design.

Located at 8507 Melrose Avenue near La Cienega Boulevard, the 1,100-square-foot boutique is a bi-coastal extension of le PÈRE’s New York City flagship. Designed by BOND Architecture, the space features an open layout with natural materials, including oak wood and concrete, alongside the brand’s signature sunny yellow. The design balances minimalist elements with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling curtains add a sense of intrigue, while large wooden volumes are used for display, seating, and storage.

Drawing on a relaxed West Coast aesthetic, the store incorporates influences from skateparks and theaters, providing a backdrop for the brand’s collections. “When thinking about the LA space, we wanted to design for that spirit and think of the store as an inviting space for gathering,” said BOND co-founder Daniel Rauchwerger.

Launching in November, the Fall/Winter 2024 collection blends abstract forms with subverted sportswear motifs. Inspired by the aesthetics of boxing and wrestling gear, the collection includes graphics, type-work, and humor-infused designs. The brand continues to expand its knitwear range, featuring Made in Italy pieces in collaboration with animator Drew Tyndell, whose abstract motifs appear on sweaters and pullovers.

The boutique will also host events designed to foster creative energy and excitement, mirroring the community-building ethos of its New York counterpart. le PÈRE West Hollywood operates from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
