Sophisticated, sober, wise, versatile, timeless: shades of grey were a significant color trend on the Fall 2025 menswear runways in Paris and Milan. Spanning the spectrum between black and white, these graphite tones were not only revived as a classic and sensible choice for formal suiting – as exemplified by brands like Zegna and Ami – but brought a flexible sensibility to workwear, streetwear, and beyond. Almost all of the looks that we saw embodying the trend featured monochrome grey ensembles that exuded elegance and composure – but the neutral color can also form a base for more daring chromatic narratives.
