The Owner of Antonio Marras, Calzedonia, and Intimissimi Reported a Year of Strong Growth
Oniverse, previously known as Gruppo Calzedonia, announced on Wednesday a 13.5 percent increase in its 2024 sales, reaching 3.5 billion euros, up from 3.1 billion euros the previous year.
The company reported exports totaling 2.2 billion euros.
In December 2023, the Italian firm adopted the Oniverse name, marking its evolution from a specialist in innerwear and hosiery to a diversified international conglomerate. The group now includes luxury fashion with the Antonio Marras label, bridal wear, food and wine, among other sectors. Its portfolio comprises the brands Calzedonia, Intimissimi, Intimissimi Uomo, Tezenis, cashmere brand Falconeri, bridal label Atelier Emé, restaurant and wine store chain Signorvino, wine producer and distributor Oniwines, and luxury yacht manufacturers Cantiere del Pardo, known for producing Grand Soleil, Pardo, and Van Dutch yachts.
The Signorvino brand is part of the “Journey Across Flavours” initiative, launched at the 2023 Vinitaly wine trade show, aiming to celebrate and share the diversity of Italian viticulture.
Last year, Intimissimi introduced its “second skin” Silky Intimates collection, prominently featuring global ambassador Jennifer Lopez in its marketing campaign.
As of December 31, Oniverse operated 5,732 stores under its various brands, with 3,798 located outside Italy.
In 2024, the group expanded its global presence to 59 countries, opening 88 new stores, with plans to continue growing its retail footprint, particularly in Mexico, the U.S., Germany, and France.
Currently, there are 41 Signorvino stores, including one near the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris and another in the Westfield Chodov shopping center in Prague.
Oniwines, the group’s wine sector, consolidates several vineyards with a focus on promoting Italian heritage and traditions. This past year, Oniwines opened the “Podere Guardia Grande” wine estate in Alghero, Sardinia and acquired “Villa Bucci” in the Marche region. An additional ten Signorvino locations are slated to open in 2025.
Last year’s investments exceeded 280 million euros, directed towards expanding and enhancing the retail network, integrating online platforms, and upgrading logistics and technology systems.
