New boutique marks brand’s 50th anniversary with expanded retail spac
Santoni has opened its largest flagship store at 667 Madison Avenue in New York City. Designed by architect Patricia Urquiola, the boutique spans over 350 square meters and draws inspiration from the Chrysler Building’s geometric forms. The store’s interior features a blend of fine Italian marble, champagne brass details, and warm shades of orange and terracotta, creating a balance between modern design and traditional craftsmanship.
“Opening our new flagship in New York, right on our 50th anniversary, is an extraordinary milestone,” said Santoni President Giuseppe Santoni. “It was here, in 1997, that we opened our first boutique, marking the beginning of a story of innovation and growth. Today, our journey extends far beyond men’s footwear, strongly embracing the women’s and accessories segments.” The two-level store includes a high-ceilinged ground floor with paneled walls and curated displays, while the lower level offers a lounge-like space with mirrored accents and an exclusive Bespoke Santoni area for personalized shopping experiences.
The new boutique also includes an artisanal workshop where customers can have shoes repaired, polished, and resoled. To mark the occasion, Santoni is introducing a capsule collection featuring men’s and women’s accessories. The opening reflects the brand’s continued expansion and commitment to offering immersive retail experiences in key global markets.
