A co-designed eight-piece collection blends Hadid’s personal style with Onar’s Nordic sensibility
Alana Hadid and Finnish fashion house Onar Studios have partnered on an eight-piece capsule collection set to launch in November 2025. Shot in Los Angeles by photographer Henna Koskinen, the project brings together two creatives with a shared interest in sustainability, craft, and thoughtfully designed everyday pieces.
The collaboration was co-designed by Hadid and Onar’s founder and creative director, Irene Kostas. The collection draws directly from Hadid’s own wardrobe signatures while keeping the clean, sculptural, and slightly off-beat aesthetic Onar is known for. Designed for what both describe as the “strong, expressive, and empowered” woman, the capsule focuses on six core styles that bridge functionality with personality.
Hadid describes the project as a natural extension of her creative practice. “This collaboration is an expression of my creativity, my fashion sense and my love of sustainability. It is my favourite expression to collaborate and I love the fact that I was able to collaborate on this with Irene. A strong, expressive, and powerful woman, like the Onar woman, is every woman — and I designed this collection for them,” she says.
For Kostas, the partnership reflects a meeting of values and perspective. “I couldn’t have hoped for a more inspiring person to collaborate and share my design process with. The Alana Hadid x Onar Studios collaboration has been a dream project as working with Alana has been natural and dynamic — she’s a force of nature. She perfectly represents the Onar woman: powerful, clear-minded, independent and daring to express herself. Rooted yet home everywhere. We share the same passion for creativity, sustainability and bold expression.”
The Alana Hadid x Onar Studios capsule will be available online beginning November 24th.
