The collection debuts during Milan Design Week
Diesel Living continues its exploration of interiors during Milan Design Week, unveiling The Baggy Collection in collaboration with Moroso — a furniture system that translates the brand’s fashion-driven identity into the language of domestic design.
Developed under the creative direction of Glenn Martens with Controvento, the collection centers on a bed and accompanying side tables, unified by a shared emphasis on volume, tactility, and ease. Rather than rigid structure, the design leans into softness, proposing a more relaxed and informal vision of contemporary living.
At the core is the Diesel Baggy Bed, defined by its oversized proportions and cushioned silhouette. Upholstered in a custom jacquard fabric engineered to mimic denim, the piece directly references Diesel’s material heritage, bringing a familiar textile language into the realm of furniture. The result is a hybrid object — part fashion statement, part functional design — that prioritizes comfort while maintaining a distinct visual identity.
The Baggy Tables extend this approach, echoing the bed’s rounded forms and soft construction. Wrapped in the same denim-inspired material, the tables integrate concealed storage compartments within their sculptural bodies, balancing playfulness with utility. A satin-finish top introduces contrast, grounding the pieces with a more refined surface treatment.
