The duo will front a new fragrance campaign centered on emotion, intimacy, and individuality
Valentino Beauty has unveiled Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård as the faces of its upcoming fragrance campaign, introducing a new chapter centered on emotional expression, individuality, and human connection.
The campaign brings together Johnson, who already serves as a Maison Valentino fashion ambassador, with Skarsgård, who joins Valentino Beauty for the first time. Together, the pair embody what the brand describes as complementary forces, balancing intimacy and freedom through a narrative that celebrates authenticity and emotional depth.
“We are pleased to welcome Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård to the Valentino Beauty family. Their unique personalities and magnetic presence perfectly embody the emotional intensity at the heart of this new era,” said Claudia Marcocci, Global President of Valentino Beauty.
Johnson’s longstanding relationship with the House continues through the new campaign, reinforcing Valentino’s emphasis on individuality across both fashion and beauty. “To me, intimacy is about honesty and connection. I’m drawn to Valentino Beauty’s ability to celebrate individuality while creating something that feels both sensual and deeply human,” she said.
Making his debut with the beauty division, Skarsgård brings what Valentino describes as a free-spirited energy and understated magnetism. “I couldn’t be happier to join Valentino Beauty for this new chapter. There’s something so compelling about the way the brand celebrates individuality, emotion, and connection,” he said.
The announcement comes as Valentino Beauty continues to expand its fragrance portfolio. Earlier this month, the brand introduced Born in Roma Hair & Body Mists, extending its bestselling fragrance franchise with new products now available through Sephora, Ulta, Macy’s, and Dillard’s. The new ambassador campaign signals the next evolution of Valentino Beauty’s storytelling, pairing recognizable faces with a message rooted in emotion, sensuality, and self-expression.
