The six-day schedule features 70 runway shows and presentations, opening with Henry Zankov’s debut for Diane von Furstenberg and closing with Thom Browne
The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has released the preliminary Official New York Fashion Week schedule for the Spring/Summer 2027 season, outlining a six-day calendar that will feature 70 runway shows and designer presentations alongside digital launches and private appointments.
The week will officially begin on September 10 with Henry Zankov’s debut collection as Artistic Director of Diane von Furstenberg, marking one of the season’s most anticipated creative transitions. Thom Browne will once again close the schedule on September 15, bookending a calendar that blends established American fashion houses with a growing roster of emerging talent.
Returning to the official schedule are brands including Altuzarra, Anna Sui, Area, Calvin Klein Collection, Carolina Herrera, Christian Siriano, Collina Strada, COS, Diotima, Eckhaus Latta, Khaite, Michael Kors Collection, Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schouler, Simkhai, Todd Snyder, Tory Burch, Ulla Johnson, Wiederhoeft, Zankov, and 6397. Monse, threeASFOUR, and Tommy Hilfiger also make their return this season.
The Spring 2027 calendar welcomes several first-time participants, including Benjamin Seidler, Conner Ives, Grey’s by Emily Grey, High Sport by Alissa Zachary, Hikari no Yami by Jakarie Whitaker, Magda Butrym, Max Esmail, Patrick Taylor, Sabyasachi by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and Zaldy. The schedule also expands opportunities for emerging designers, with 2026 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists Bad Binch TongTong by Terrence Zhou, Jamie Haller, and Milamore by George Inaki making their official NYFW debuts alongside fellow finalists Aisling Camps, Amir Taghi, Lii by Zane Li, and Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen.
Ahead of the official opening, Ralph Lauren will present its Spring 2027 collection on September 9, joined by Coach, Rachel Comey—celebrating the 25th anniversary of her label—Cult Gaia, and Libertine.
The upcoming season also marks an important policy milestone for American fashion. Following its announcement in 2025, the CFDA’s fur-free policy will officially take effect across all brands participating on the Official New York Fashion Week schedule. Additionally, in recognition of the 25th anniversary of September 11, Friday’s programming will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Since assuming stewardship of the Fashion Calendar in 2014, the CFDA has overseen the Official New York Fashion Week schedule, continuing the legacy of the calendar originally established by publisher Ruth Finley in 1945. The Spring/Summer 2027 edition reinforces New York Fashion Week’s role as a platform for both heritage American brands and the next generation of international and domestic design talent.
