Calvin Klein Names Ayub Mohamed Chief Product Officer

The Former Lacoste Executive Will Oversee Global Design and Merchandising as the PVH-Owned Brand Strengthens Its Product Strategy

Calvin Klein has appointed Ayub Mohamed as Chief Product Officer, effective January 25, 2027, bringing an experienced international product executive into a newly announced leadership role as the brand looks to strengthen its global product offering and commercial performance.

Mohamed will oversee Calvin Klein’s global product organization, including design and merchandising, with responsibility for developing and executing a unified product strategy across categories and regions. He will join the Global Leadership Team and report directly to David Savman, Global Brand President of Calvin Klein.

The appointment reflects the PVH-owned brand’s continued focus on translating its recognizable design identity into a more cohesive and commercially effective product assortment.

“Ayub is an accomplished global product leader with a deep understanding of how to translate a brand’s creative identity into desirable product that drives both consumer relevance and commercial impact,” said Savman.

“We see significant opportunity to leverage the strength of Calvin Klein’s iconic brand DNA across categories and markets. Ayub’s end-to-end product expertise, deep understanding of the marketplace and global perspective will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our offering and unlock the full potential of the brand.”

Mohamed joins Calvin Klein from Lacoste, where he served as Executive Vice President of Product, overseeing global design, merchandising and development. During his tenure, he worked to establish a more consumer- and channel-focused approach to product strategy, with an emphasis on assortment productivity and profitability.

His career spans more than two decades across luxury, fashion and lifestyle businesses, combining creative product development with merchandising and commercial leadership.

Before Lacoste, Mohamed served as Chief Merchandising Officer at Kenzo, where he directed global product strategy and assortment development. He previously held senior positions at Tory Burch and Tory Sport, Donna Karan and DKNY, and Givenchy.

Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Levi Strauss & Co., overseeing men’s design, merchandising and development, initially at a regional level before assuming global responsibilities.

That combination of experience across designer fashion, sportswear and denim is particularly relevant to Calvin Klein, whose business spans underwear, denim, apparel and accessories across international markets.

The role places Mohamed at the intersection of creative direction and commercial execution, with responsibility for ensuring that Calvin Klein’s product offering remains consistent with its brand identity while responding to different consumer needs and retail channels.

For Calvin Klein, the opportunity lies in building greater coherence across its global assortment while strengthening the performance of individual categories. The brand’s distinctive visual identity and longstanding associations with American minimalism provide a recognizable foundation, but translating that identity into commercially successful products requires coordination across design, merchandising and distribution.

“Calvin Klein is one of the world’s most iconic fashion brands, with distinctive design codes and a compelling product offering,” said Mohamed. “I look forward to working with David and the team to build on that foundation, bringing a global product perspective that builds on the strength of the brand with assortments that inspire today’s global consumers.”

Mohamed’s appointment adds another senior executive to Calvin Klein’s global leadership structure as the brand continues refining its product strategy under Savman.

His arrival in January will place him in a central position to shape how Calvin Klein develops its collections, manages its assortments and builds on the commercial potential of its core categories.
