Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Review of Anthropologie Fall 2024 Ad Campaign by Photographer Yulia Gorbachenko with models Taylor Hill, Barbara Palvin, and Devyn Garcia

Anthropologie ups its high-fashion aspirations while celebrating the magic of New York with its Fall 2024 campaign. Shot by photographer Yulia Gorbachenko, the campaign stars top models Devyn Garcia, Taylor Hill, Barbara Palvin.

Putting the spotlight on this trio of leading talents, the narrative leans into the simple joy of a fall day of solo exploration in New York City. Taylor Hill hits the record store and checks out vintage cassette finds before chilling in a coffee shop. Barbara Palvin walks the dogs and takes in the smells at a local florist. Devyn Garcia hops in a cab downtown and explores the farmer’s market.

Aptly fitting with the mood of quiet celebration and Anthropologie’s curation of contemporary updates on 2010s boho-chic, the short film takes an intimate cover of “New York, New York” as its soundtrack.

The bigger approach to casting and the Big Apple location coincide with a newly expanded marketing push from the lifestyle retailer that includes widening its social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest, as well as events and special partnerships with stylists and influencers. The accessible and warm narrative of the campaign is a smart way to fill this subtly expanded marketing scope with meaning and connection, balancing a new forward push with a timeless sense of story and style.
