Dark Clouds, Silver Linings
While the unveiling of his designs for the Riyadh Air cabin crew was set for later in the same day, Ashi’s Fall 2024 couture collection explored a less literal side of having one’s head in the clouds. Inspired by daydreams and nostalgia, each look in the collection translated a fleeting moment into an intricately sculptural look.
Textures evoking patina were prevalent in the collection, with soft cashmere transformed with hand-tooling and trailing golden threads, and a black velvet coat that exuded elegance and sophistication.
The collection concluded with lighter silhouettes, including sheer blouses and textured skirts in blush tones, along with a finale dress featuring cascades of black chiffon looping back towards the shoulders.
