The Event Spotlighted the Brand’s Holiday Collection and Cashmere
On the evening of December 12, Banana Republic and Derek Blasberg co-hosted a holiday celebration at the brand’s New York flagship. The gathering, named “Cocktails & Cashmere,” drew a diverse group of creatives, artists, and industry leaders to celebrate the holiday season.
The event saw the attendance of figures such as Zac Posen, Carolyn Murphy, Martha Hunt, Nicky Hilton, and many others, including Ruby Aldridge, Ella Emhoff, and Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece.
The evening focused on Banana Republic’s Holiday collection, particularly emphasizing cashmere. Attendees enjoyed custom cocktails and gourmet bites provided by New York City chef, writer, and entrepreneur Jonah Reider. Each guest received a personalized monogrammed cashmere sweater as a keepsake from the event.
Additional activities at the event included a wreath-making workshop and a photo backdrop, designed for guests to create and capture holiday memories.
The event took place at the Banana Republic store located at 552 Broadway, reflecting the brand’s initiative to blend product promotion with customer engagement during the holiday season.
