Daily Paper schools the world with a new campaign highlighting the brand’s “From Africa to the World” capsule collection. Captured by photographer Wendy N., the Fall 2021 campaign continues the label’s celebration of African diaspora heritage and cross-cultural connection.

The campaign imagery develops on the capsule’s academia theme, which pairs varsity jackets and embroidered sweatshirts with hoodies and joggers, and makes use of a new, excellently crafted logo print that embodies the brand’s mission of global unity.

Wendy captures a group of Black students on a university campus, weaving staged portraits and group shots between candid images that bubble with the youthful excitement of academic and social life. The photographs have a harmonious color scheme of rich greens and neutral tones, emphasizing the sense of unity and community.

Daily Paper continues to lead by example with their consistently excellent use of the capsule collection form. Having a few focused capsule drops between each full seasonal collection is more than just a smart marketing tactic; each new drop has a strong concept and visual identity that uniquely ties into Daily Paper’s overarching narrative and values of African heritage and global citizenship.

This campaign is another strong example of the approach, and we continue to admire Daily Paper’s ability – both in design technique and in conceptual ethos – to break down borders and unite communities around the world.
