Dior Returns to Cannes With Its Riviera-Inspired Beauty Suite

Dior is once again bringing its signature vision of beauty and cinematic glamour to the Cannes Film Festival, unveiling a newly redesigned Dior Suite at the Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic for the festival’s 79th edition, running May 12 through 23, 2026.

Perched on the sixth floor of the legendary Croisette hotel, the sprawling 350-square-meter suite has been transformed into a Riviera-inspired retreat rendered in shades of white and sky blue. Striped floors and walls create a breezy seaside atmosphere throughout the space, while hand-drawn illustrations depicting masked-ball characters introduce the house’s Dior Masquerade couture motif — a nod to the artistry of costume design inspired by Christian Bérard’s illustrations for Monsieur Dior.

The immersive design continues from the entrance through a series of intimate salons and beauty rooms accented with wicker shells, scalloped detailing, and references to Christian Dior’s handwritten signature. At the center of the first reception room stands an old-world striped tent that functions as a “room within a room,” complete with a vanity table and seating area conceived as a private dressing retreat for guests.

Further inside, the suite opens onto a main reception room furnished with white seating, palm-shaped lamps, and panoramic views over the Mediterranean. On the terrace, striped loungers and oversized parasols extend the Riviera atmosphere outdoors.

Throughout the festival, the suite will serve as Dior’s beauty headquarters for international actors, filmmakers, ambassadors, and friends of the house preparing for red carpet appearances, interviews, and premieres. Treatments include massages and express facials delivered by Dior beauty experts, including skincare specialist and U.S. house ambassador Sarah Akram and Dior global wellness expert Hadda Akrim.

The makeup room will be staffed by Dior Backstage PROS Norman Pohl, Jamie Coombes, Junior Cedeno, Ricky Wilson, and Serby Gil, alongside international makeup artists including Aurore Gautier, Kristina Vidic, Ruby Mazuel, Khela, Phophie Matthias, Christina Lutz, Carole Hannah, and Alexandra Schiavi. Nail services using Dior Vernis will also be available, while grooming expert and Dior Sauvage ambassador Brice Tchaga will oversee men’s hair and beard styling.

For the third consecutive year, Dior is partnering with Dyson Beauty for hairstyling services. Under the direction of Dyson ambassador Pierre Saint-Sever, stylists will create bespoke red carpet looks using Dyson’s latest technologies, including the Supersonic r hair dryer and the newly introduced HushJet Mini Cool handheld fan.

Dior is also extending its Cannes presence beyond the Majestic through its continued partnership with La Terrasse by Albane, where the house has installed an additional hair and makeup studio atop the JW Marriott hotel for talent preparing for interviews and photo shoots.

Long one of Cannes’ most visible luxury presences, the Dior Suite continues to position the house at the intersection of fashion, beauty, celebrity culture, and cinema — transforming hospitality into an extension of the Dior universe itself.
