Dunhill Will Continue to Support the London Art Fair Event Through 2026, Introduces New Discussion Platform
Dunhill has announced that it will continue its partnership with Frieze Masters until 2026. This collaboration extends to include sponsorship of the Frieze Masters Talks, a platform where esteemed artists, writers, museum curators, and directors discuss a wide range of topics, from rare masterpieces to the future of the art world.
The upcoming Frieze Masters Talks will take place from October 9 to 13, hosted in the Dunhill lounge, a space designed in collaboration with Studio Boum. This event is part of the London art fair, which is held annually in Regent’s Park each October. Last year, with Dunhill’s support, the fair revived the program for the first time since 2019.
Previous speakers at the Frieze Masters Talks have included multidisciplinary artist Sarah Lucas, the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Chair Emerita Sheena Wastaff, contemporary artist Thomas J. Price, and Dr. Gus Casely-Hayford, the inaugural director of V&A East.
Simon Holloway, Dunhill’s creative director, has frequently drawn inspiration from British art for his collections. His first collection for Dunhill was presented in the National Portrait Gallery’s Duveen Wing, a venue the designer noted had been addressing “the problematic history that exists in the country” while maintaining its historical and aesthetic significance.
London is recognized as the second-largest art market globally, surpassing the entire western European market. “Culture is in the DNA of London. It’s the reason that four out of five people tell us they come here. One in every six jobs is a creative one, and it’s worth nearly 60 billion pounds to our economy,” said Justine Simons, deputy mayor for culture and the creative industries, during last year’s Frieze London.
