Historic tailoring house launches new retail concept in northern England.
Gieves & Hawkes, the British tailoring brand founded in 1771, announced the opening of its first store-in-store within Flannels Leeds. The new 600 sq ft space, located on the second floor of Flannels flagship store, sits alongside prominent luxury brands such as Burberry, Alexander McQueen, and Tom Ford. The interior reflects the sophisticated aesthetic familiar from Gieves & Hawkes’ No.1 Savile Row flagship.
The Leeds opening marks a significant move as part of Gieves & Hawkes’ broader strategy to expand regionally across the UK, tapping into increasing demand outside the capital.

Visitors to Flannels Leeds will have access to personalized services, including made-to-measure and the Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collections. Staff at the new location have received specialist training at the Savile Row headquarters, ensuring expertise in menswear and tailoring.
The move signals an expanded presence of British luxury brands outside London, offering consumers in Leeds direct access to Gieves & Hawkes’ renowned tailoring and craftsmanship.
