Highsnobiety Announces Sports Flagship

Highsnobiety Announces Highsnobiety Sports Flagship with Content, Commerce and Physical Retail Experience in Los Angeles

Highsnobiety, the media pioneer who since 2005 has shaped the forefront of the new luxury culture from the proliferation of streetwear to its infiltration of luxury, announces its newest flagship, Highsnobiety Sports.

An exploration of the intersection between sport and style, Highsnobiety Sports is designed for its loyal audience of next generation tastemakers and collectors, who continue to define the cutting edge of culture.

This new flagship will encompass original storytelling, exclusive product collaborations, special releases, a Los Angeles pop-up shop and physical activations – an homage to the relationship between sport and their attached lifestyles, including but not limited to running, cycling, swimming, climbing, and hiking.

Highsnobiety has teamed up with brands, talents, and institutions that have carved out a sweet spot between sports and lifestyle. Shot on location at UCLA campus, the collaborative launches will see partnerships with sportswear and lifestyle brands including Jack Wolfskin, Merrell, Satisfy, Wilson, UCLA, MARKET, Speedo, Gramicci, and more. Overall, the Highsnobiety Sports collection centers on apparel and accessories including hoodies, swimwear, water bottles, paddles, backpacks and more.

Besides its main showcase online, all of the Highsnobiety Sports collection and collaborative gear will be showcased in a pop-up retail location at the iconic Fred Segal store located on Los Angeles’ Sunset and La Cienega Boulevards, open from May 11 – 25, 2022.

To commemorate the opening, Highsnobiety will host a series of events in Los Angeles, putting Highsnobiety Sports products to the test and inviting its community into an open conversation about sports and its influence. Events include a hike with Jack Wolfskin, panel talk with Merrell and LA’s outdoor voices and a run with the Satisfy running collection ending at the store with a breakfast for participants.

In the content modality, Highsnobiety will not only cover the practicalities of sports but pay homage to its impact as a cultural definer, storyteller, and general common ground – shedding light on both the creators who equip the people, and the people who cement the affection through an accompanying content series published on their platforms.

Launched in 2020, Highsnobiety’s multimedia flagships bring the Highsnobiety universe to life in a format bridging community, content and commerce. Highsnobiety Sports follows Paris Fashion Week platform “Not in Paris”, “Berlin, Berlin” focused on the subcultures of the brand’s home, and most recently, “HIGHArt,” which debuted with a takeover of Miami’s 2021 art week.
