The Actor and Singer Expands on Her Existing Role as Ambassador to the Asia Pacific Region
Chinese actress and singer Victoria Song has been appointed as a global brand ambassador for British luxury footwear and accessories brand Jimmy Choo. Song has been associated with the brand since 2018 as a brand ambassador for the Asia Pacific region. Song’s collaboration with Jimmy Choo’s creative director in 2019 led to a series of limited-edition bags.
Expressing her excitement, Song stated,
I am excited and honored to return to the Jimmy Choo family embarking on a new chapter as a global brand ambassador. I admire the joy, glamour, and craftsmanship of the brand. I always feel confident and empowered when I am wearing Jimmy Choo.”
With a massive following of over 49 million on Weibo, Song’s name has over 910 million impressions on the Chinese platform Xiaohongshu. In her new role, Song will represent the brand’s I Want Choo fragrance line, which was launched in January 2021.
The Jimmy Choo fragrance division operates under a licensing agreement with Interparfums dating back to 2009. Philippe Benacin, chairman and CEO of Interparfums, praised the success of the I Want Choo range, particularly highlighting the positive reception of the I Want Choo Forever variant.
With a background in K-pop as a member of the group f(x), Song has successfully transitioned into acting and television in both China and South Korea. Her popularity has attracted attention from luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, for which she serves as a house ambassador in China, and collaborations with Moncler, Cartier, and Evisu.
