The Partnership Offers Exclusive Access to the Designer’s NYFW Show for Marriott Bonvoy Members
LaQuan Smith has partnered with Marriott Bonvoy to provide loyalty program members with an exclusive opportunity to attend his Spring 2025 show at New York Fashion Week on September 9. This collaboration is part of Marriott Bonvoy’s “One Point Drop” moments, offering members unique experiences for just one reward point.
Smith expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “Collaborating with Marriott Bonvoy experiences is a great way to open up the brand. Fashion has never really been open to the public. It’s always very private. The concept is for people to encompass the world of LaQuan Smith. I’m really excited to be able to continue to expand the idea of what American luxury looks like.”
Starting at noon on Thursday EST, Bonvoy members can purchase an exclusive experience for one loyalty point. This includes two second-row seats at Smith’s show, invites to a pre-show reception with the designer, and access to his after party at The Edition Times Square.
Smith highlighted the importance of collaborations in the fashion industry, saying, “It’s important in the fashion industry to expand and broaden our horizons and do collaborations that are unexpected.” Marriott’s “One Point Drops” initiative allows members to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences, such as attending a runway show for the first time.
The designer’s post-show celebrations are renowned during fashion week. Smith mentioned, “I never thought I would be at the forefront of nightlife. But there is something extraordinary about getting sexy after 9 p.m. The way people shop my clothes, it’s always for a night out on the town, for a date night.”
