Blackpink’s Lisa Joins Louis Vuitton as Brand Ambassador
K-pop star Lisa from Blackpink has officially joined Louis Vuitton as a brand ambassador. She previously created buzz when she attended the brand’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear show in March, with excited fans welcoming her at Paris Fashion Week. Since 2020, she had been the ambassador for Celine, another luxury brand under LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.
Lisa, whose real name is Lalisa Manobal, is transitioning to her solo career while remaining with Blackpink for group activities. She recently released a successful single, “Rockstar,” and is also set to star in the third season of HBO series “The White Lotus.”
Regarding her collaboration with Louis Vuitton, the brand stated, “Across the board, Lisa sets trends and approaches her craft with fearless authenticity,” noting how her bold fashion choices align with the vision of Nicolas Ghesquière, the artistic director of women’s collections at Vuitton.
For her Vuitton debut, Lisa made a statement with her outfit, including black leather shorts, hold-up stockings, and a lavishly embroidered frock coat. She expressed her excitement about working with Ghesquière and immersing herself in the brand’s designs.
Along with Lisa, Vuitton’s roster of female brand ambassadors includes Zendaya, Emma Stone, and others. Notably, Vuitton has also collaborated with K-pop personalities like BTS’ J-Hope and Stray Kids’ Felix.
With a massive Instagram following and numerous other brand partnerships, Lisa’s influence extends to music, fashion, and beyond, solidifying her status as a global fashion icon.
