Louis Vuitton Opens New Men’s Store On Rodeo Drive

Louis Vuitton will open its newest freestanding store dedicated to the men’s universe on Rodeo Drive on July 16th. Offering the Maison’s complete métiers for men – including leather goods, accessories, shoes, ready-to- wear, watches, and fragrance – the space will encompass a comprehensive men’s universe. Additional heritage categories including Louis Vuitton’s publishing, iconic hardsided trunks, and exclusive Objets Nomades collection complete the recherché selection.

The dedicated Men’s Store in Beverly Hills is the eighth freestanding Men’s store in the country, and the first in California. The architecture and design pays homage to the Maison’s history of craftsmanship and innovation while highlighting the beauty of the California landscape and casual chic style synonymous with the city. Centrally positioned on Rodeo Drive, the store’s exterior features oversized windows and textured paneling that recalls Louis Vuitton’s trademark Epi leather. Once inside, guests discover the striking entryway featuring 17-foot ceilings, bathed in abundant natural light. A vibrant, three-dimensional acrylic painting on stainless steel and mirrors by artist Marisa Ferreira enlivens the space, inspired by the immersive geometric qualities of a kaleidoscope. A grand curved staircase with distinctive blue leather handrails connects the ground floor and mezzanine levels, flanked by a “Giant Man” sculpture from Virgil Abloh’s oeuvre, in a handstand position. Upstairs, the VIP rooms feature specially commissioned murals by Alex Proba, with a playfully abstracted design using mid-century motifs and a desert-inspired palette.

The Beverly Hills men’s store will open with an ample selection from the Fall-Winter 2022 collection designed by Louis Vuitton’s late Men’s Artistic Director Virgil Abloh. Created through the lens of Virgil Abloh’s central Boyhood Ideology® – seeing the world with the eyes of a child – the collection transmutes the dress codes popularly tied to societal archetypes and patchworks them in new ways. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Tambour watch is well represented in numerous styles. Classic Objets Nomades and hardsided pieces are also available, including seasonal interpretations of the of seminal pieces like the Courier Lozine, Cotteville and Coffret such as the NBA set, the Wavy set and Climbing set. For the ultimate in bespoke luxury, Louis Vuitton’s historic tradition of hand-crafted personalization is prevalent through an on-site hot-stamping service which offers clients the opportunity to personalize a variety of leather goods. A full fragrance counter offering custom engraving on the Maison’s inspired colognes by Louis Vuitton’s Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud completes the compelling display.
