Rushemy Botter And Lisi Herrebrugh Part Ways With Nina Ricci
Nina Ricci will be parting ways with its lead designers, Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh, as they shift their focus onto their own label Botter, scheduled to show in Paris Fashion Week this March.

Lisi Herrebrugh and Rushemy Botter have posted the following statement on their respective Instagram accounts: “Dear friends, After 3,5 amazing years at the creative helm of Nina Ricci, we have decided with mutual agreement to end the partnership. We are thankful to Nina Ricci and Puig for their trust and to our passionate team for all their work and support. We are proud to have been able to put our creativity at the service of this iconic maison. We felt that this is the right time to dedicate all of our attention to Botter, which is now entering exciting times and which we will take to yet another level.”
The co-creative Directors joined Nina Ricci and showed their first collection during the pre-fall 2019 season. Prior to their appointment they won the Hyères Fashion Festival and were finalists for the LVMH Prize. Thought the past few years they have been accredited with reviving the brand’s ethos with a wink of poeticism & modernity.
Nina Ricci, the Puig owned brand, has notably announced the houses intention to move towards accessible luxury prices and expand their digital focus. This move has lead to speculation about the exit of their creative directors but otherwise the brand has not provided a firm reason for the mutual departure.
We wish them all the best and look forward to seeing more from Botter.
