Sandy Liang Puts Her Spin on Salomon’s Archive Sneaker
Sandy Liang and Salomon reunite for another collaborative sneaker release. For the latest chapter of the collaboration, Sandy Liang brings her sporty and feminine design vision to Salomon’s XT-Whisper. She reimagines the archival sneaker with a soft pink upper and a bright red sole for a dynamic and romantic twist on a classic running silhouette.
“The XT-Whisper is one of my favorite silhouettes from Salomon’s archives, and I loved the challenge of reimagining it through a fresh, modern lens,” Liang said.
The campaign imagery by photographer Daniel Arnold sees this spirit step out onto the streets of Manhattan. Arnold brings a spontaneous, street photography-esque approach, while the styling balances everyday denim with a more elevated sporty-chic aesthetic.
