The Agency Continues Its Global Expansion with the Promotion of Current Team Members to Lead the New Division
The Lede Company has launched an events division with Emma Parker and Brendan Ordonez at its head. They will report to the co-founders and co-CEOs of The Lede Company, Sarah Rothman, Amanda Silverman, Meredith O’Sullivan, and Christine Su.
Su addressed the launch of this new division in a statement, saying, “As global events continue to drive culture, it’s a natural evolution to have a team dedicated to supporting our growth and expansion, and we’re thrilled to have Emma and Brendan at the helm of Lede’s global presence in events. Their unwavering dedication and vision bring an unmatched depth to our capabilities, and we couldn’t be prouder of all they’ve achieved and what lies ahead,” Su stated.
The Lede Company was established in 2018 and has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and London. The company has different divisions devoted to brand, talent, strategic communications, content, and social impact. The new events addition will incorporate publicity and red carpet management.
The company, alongside Parker and Ordonez’s current client roster, will handle publicity and communications for events organized by clients such as Louis Vuitton, Audi, Diptyque Paris, Peabody Awards, Hennessy, Coach, Altuzarra, Thom Browne, Gotham Film and Media Institute, the LA LGBTQ Gala, Nylon, Something in the Water, The Ohana Fest, and Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, among others.
Additional members of the events team include Eliseé Browchuk, previously with Vogue, who joins as director of events, Walker Inge, appointed as senior director of brand and events, and Carlos Freixeda, who will supervise the new division located in Paris.
Brendan Ordonez served as vice president of brand at Lede since 2020 prior to his new role. Speaking on his new position, Ordonez said, “I’m honored to take on this role and the incredible opportunity to further push the boundaries of Lede’s events excellence. By building on our collective experience and expertise, we are ready to deliver unparalleled experiences for our clients at the center of culture.”
Emma Parker joined Lede in 2018 and has worked across the strategic communications and content divisions on publicity drives for corporate entertainment clients, nonprofits, and film and television projects. Reflecting on the growth of the company, Parker said, “It’s been really special to be with Lede from the beginning and see how much the company has evolved. I’m so excited to take this next step and be part of what makes Lede such a force in this industry.”
