Our trip to Paris couture for Spring 2019 took us to plenty of destinations we didn’t expect when going in. A big top circus at Christian Dior, an Italian villa at Chanel, an art explosion at Maison Margiela, a dreamy flower garden at Valentino, and a social podium at Viktor & Rolf.
While the majority of couture designers are stuck in the traditional notion of what couture was rather than what it can be, a few designers understood the power of the experience and transported their audience into their world. Those journies help to articulate the value of couture, the dream.
Here are The Impression Top 10 Couture shows of Spring 2019 that made our editorial staff and Chief Impressionist, Kenneth Richard, dream.
