Tory Burch Hosts “Animal House” Event at Mercer Street Boutique

The Party Kicked Off the Release of the Designer’s Exclusive Walter Schels Capsule

Tory Burch hosted an intimate celebration at the brand’s flagship store on Mercer Street, marking the debut of a limited-edition capsule collection that continues the playful spirit of photographer Walter Schels’ iconic cat prints, first introduced in the Resort 2024 collection. The evening brought together fashion and philanthropy in a quintessential New York setting.

The event offered a lively mix of art, music, and whimsical entertainment for guests. Illustrator Joana Avillez created personalized pet portraits, while artist Robert Moy of Brooklyn Balloon Company crafted playful balloon animals. Guests also enjoyed candy cocktail rings by artist Maayan Zilberman, all set to a DJ set by Mona Matsuoka.

Adding a charitable touch to the evening, Tory Burch partnered with Animal Haven, a local organization dedicated to finding homes for homeless pets. “20% of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to the organization,” the brand shared, underscoring its commitment to supporting animal welfare.
