Nénuphar Unveils Handcrafted Spring Collection

A couture collaboration by Zoë de Givenchy and Adam Lippes inspired by an oriental garden

Zoë de Givenchy and Adam Lippes have joined forces to present Nénuphar, a couture assortment of hand-painted French faience, linens, and glassware for the spring season. Drawing from 18th-century Japanese obi jacquards, the designs unfold a narrative of trailing white jasmine and water lilies—each piece reflecting a shared devotion to artisanal craftsmanship.

Hand-cut lace charger plates, centrepieces, and meticulously painted dinner plates sit alongside French silver and fine Italian jacquards. The collection also marks Zoë de Givenchy’s debut in glassware, with an exclusive series of drinking glasses and bowls crafted in collaboration with Lobmeyr’s master Austrian artisans.

“Adam is a hugely talented designer and a great friend. His clean aesthetic, American ease and eye for beauty, feels at home alongside my own. We both value the highest quality craftsmanship in all that we create, an authenticity in all we do and delight in tying together meaningful references in our designs to bring a story to life” said Zoë de Givenchy.

“My first love affair with Zoë‘s work came from a small plate I received as a gift. I soon ordered a whole set and it quickly became my favorite. That’s saying a lot as I have a little plate addiction! She has extra extraordinary style with quality to match and that is so rare today. After falling in love with the plate, I was lucky enough to spend time with Zoë and I fell in love with her. So this is a collaboration made in heaven.” said Adam Lippes.

Available exclusively at Adam Lippes boutiques and online at zdgofficial.com and adamlippes.com, Nénuphar will make its debut in Palm Beach in early April.
