Let the games begin! Franz Kraler is bringing their luxury shopping experience to the mecca of après-ski—Cortina d’Ampezzo.
In partnership with Club Moritzino, Franz Kraler is creating nothing short of a luxurious winter wonderland in Cortina d’Ampezzo, just in time for the 2026 Winter Olympics. Chalet Franz Kraler will be designed by Bozen, Italy–based architecture firm BlueArch and is slated for completion by November. This massive chalet will span three floors, two of which will be underground for environmental purposes.
What can we expect from this pinnacle presentation of après-ski?
The chalet will include pop-up spaces, boutique retail areas, a restaurant, and a 430-square-foot wine cellar. Franz Kraler is known for curating high-end shopping experiences, having launched a similar slope-style project in 2023 called Ria de Saco, which featured Valentino. This new chalet will be the perfect backdrop for collaborations that celebrate the prestige of the Olympic Games through the medium of luxury fashion. We’re imagining hot chocolate stands with Moncler, an Olympic tracksuit pop-up with Ferragamo, and a snowball fight hosted by Miu Miu.
More than a year ahead of the 2026 Olympic Games, Franz Kraler is already positioned to dominate the field. This project offers a unique opportunity to bridge the worlds of high-end sports and high-end fashion through a truly immersive après-ski experience. With Club Moritzino onboard and the Olympic spirit in the air, expect a range of adventurous, high-energy events. For over 50 years, Club Moritzino has hosted slope-side festivities featuring DJ sets, ice bars, and inventive Italian cuisine. It will be exciting to see how Franz Kraler integrates luxury brands into the vibrant atmosphere of a Club Moritzino après-ski celebration.
