A Joyful Start to NYFW With Art, Music, and Style at the 57th Street Flagship
Marc Jacobs and Nordstrom NYC kicked off New York Fashion Week with a celebration for the debut of Marc Jacobs at The Corner—a vibrant, limited-time pop-up housed inside the Nordstrom NYC Flagship. The immersive space marks the latest chapter in the global JOY campaign and reflects Jacobs’ signature blend of artistry, nostalgia, and irreverence.
The opening night brought together creatives, tastemakers, and friends of the house for an evening of cocktails, live JOY-inspired nail art by @manicuresNY, Moleskine notebook embossing, and a special performance by singer-songwriter Devon Thompson.
Among those in attendance were Marc Jacobs; Jamie Nordstrom, CMO of Nordstrom; Olivia Kim, SVP of Creative; Rickie De Sole, VP, Fashion Director; and Jian DeLeon, Men’s Fashion Director. Guests also included Whoopi Goldberg, June Ambrose, Derrick Adams, Barbie, Louie, Nico, Mickey Boardman, Sage Elsesser, Carla Rey, Jett Lawrence, Evan Ross Katz, Rox Brown, Elizabeth Kurpis, Sophie Elgort, Alyssa Coscarelli, Coco Bassey, Leah Halton, Ethan Diaz, Anajah Hamilton, Joe Floww, Allison Ho, Olivia Hurst, Ziggy Mack Johnson, Ella Snyder, Tara Yummy, and Rowi Singh.
Open through October 5, Marc Jacobs at The Corner offers a curated selection of accessories, ready-to-wear, and signature handbags, including limited-edition pieces created in collaboration with artists David Shrigley, Derrick Adams, and Hattie Stewart. The JOY capsule features playful partnerships with Converse, Crayola, Moleskine, maxbone, SHUT, and Gibson—blurring the lines between fashion and art through a colorful, expressive lens.
The space will also host community programming throughout the month, from a Marc Jacobs smoothie at the EBAR to pet portraits, nail art, special gifts with purchase, and more. Located at the corner of 57th and Broadway, Marc Jacobs at The Corner invites visitors to discover a world of creativity and joy in the heart of Manhattan.
