Dior Celebrates the Launch of J’Adore Intense

The Beverly Hills launch of J’adore Intense positioned Rihanna, Francis Kurkdjian, and experiential spectacle at the center of Dior Beauty’s next fragrance chapter.

Christian Dior Parfums marked the debut of J’adore Intense with a Beverly Hills event that underscored how luxury beauty now sells fragrance through culture as much as composition. Staged at a private residence transformed into “CLUB J’ADORE,” the launch brought together Dior Beauty leadership, international ambassadors, and celebrity guests around the latest evolution of one of the house’s most recognizable scents.

Rihanna remained central to the message. As the face of J’adore, she gives the franchise contemporary visibility and broader cultural reach, helping Dior keep a heritage perfume relevant to a global luxury audience. Dior also used the evening to spotlight the scale of its ambassador network, with guests including Yuko Araki, Harriet Herbig-Matten, Nicole Wallace, Lana Condor, Alexandra Shipp, and Jurnee Smollett.

Created by Francis Kurkdjian, J’adore Intense builds on the original fragrance’s floral structure with a richer profile shaped by jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang, sandalwood, and vanilla. The strategy is familiar but effective: preserve the recognition of a major beauty asset while introducing enough depth and novelty to keep it moving.

For Dior, the event was about more than a launch. It was a reminder that fragrance remains one of luxury’s most powerful storytelling tools, especially when product, celebrity, and experience are aligned around a house icon.
