Zegna Sponsors Italian Pavilion at 2026 Venice Biennale

The partnership extends the brand’s long-term engagement with contemporary art, material research, and territorial dialogue

Zegna was named Main Sponsor of the Italian Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture. The pavilion will present Con te con tutto, a project by artist Chiara Camoni curated by Cecilia Canziani.

The exhibition explores themes of coexistence, transformation, and shared practices, examining relationships between materials, living forms, and processes of change. Zegna’s involvement builds on a longstanding cultural strategy rooted in the intersection of art, nature, and territory, concepts that have informed the company’s identity since its founding.

Through its ZegnArt platform, the brand has developed ongoing collaborations with artists and curators, emphasizing commissioned works tied to specific places and materials rather than acquisitions. Zegna’s relationship with Camoni and Canziani began in 2014 and has evolved through a series of projects that now culminate in the Biennale presentation.

For the pavilion, Zegna contributed directly to the artistic process through materials sourced from Oasi Zegna, including earth, ash, and minerals incorporated into the sculptures. Yarns from Lanificio Ermenegildo Zegna are also integrated into the textile components of the work, linking the company’s manufacturing heritage with the exhibition’s material research.

The collaboration will continue beyond Venice through an exhibition organized by Fondazione Zegna at Oasi Zegna from May 24 to November 22, 2026, curated by Ilaria Bonacossa. The project will further develop the themes introduced at the Biennale, reinforcing the connection between artistic practice and landscape.

“Sponsoring the Italian Pavilion at the Biennale Arte 2026 means continuing a commitment that is part of our history,” said Gildo Zegna, Executive Chairman of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group. “For over a century, we have invested in territory, craftsmanship, and Italian culture, fostering an ongoing dialogue between business and art.”

Through the partnership, Zegna continues to position itself as an active participant in contemporary cultural production, supporting Italian art within an international institutional framework.
