The folding eyewear line reinterprets vegetable-inspired forms through surreal design, a campaign starring Karina and Yosh, and immersive global pop-ups
Gentle Monster has unveiled its 2026 Veggie Collection, a new series of folding eyewear designs that merges playful organic references with the brand’s increasingly sculptural approach to accessories. Launching May 18, the collection expands Gentle Monster’s design universe through compact silhouettes inspired by the shapes, colors, and textures of vegetables.

Comprised of ten folding eyewear styles, the collection balances portability with structural precision, translating vegetable forms into curved frames, stem-inspired temple details, and saturated color palettes. The designs continue the brand’s ongoing exploration of surrealism and object transformation, pairing natural references with the synthetic sharpness that has become central to Gentle Monster’s visual identity.
The launch is accompanied by a campaign starring Karina of aespa and multidisciplinary creative Yosh. Set against a desolate field, the imagery frames vegetables as objects of aesthetic obsession, transforming tomatoes and other produce into surreal visual motifs. The campaign extends Gentle Monster’s longstanding strategy of blending fashion, art direction, and speculative world-building into a singular brand language.
To support the release, Gentle Monster is opening immersive pop-up installations across six cities: Los Angeles, Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, and Bangkok. Inspired by agricultural landscapes, the spaces feature oversized tomato sculptures and “Veggiemon” characters displayed throughout garden-like environments, alongside interactive photo installations that allow visitors to digitally transform into the collection’s whimsical creatures.

As eyewear brands continue to compete through experiential retail and collectible design narratives, Gentle Monster’s latest project reinforces its position at the intersection of fashion, entertainment, and immersive visual culture.
