Loewe Names Spike Fearn Brand Ambassador

The British actor joins the house under the creative direction of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez

Fearn has built a growing body of work across independent and major studio productions. Raised in a working-class family in Leicestershire and trained at the Television Workshop in Nottingham, his early screen credits included Charlotte Wells’ Aftersun, Marley Morrison’s Sweetheart and Fede Álvarez’s Alien: Romulus. His performance in the latter contributed to his recognition among Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow in 2024, the same year he appeared in Sam Taylor-Johnson’s Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black alongside Jack O’Connell and Eddie Marsan.

The actor has since expanded his work across comedy and drama. Earlier this year, he took on his first leading role in Alicia MacDonald’s romantic comedy Finding Emily for Working Title and Focus Features. He also appeared in James L. Brooks’ Ella McCay alongside Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Woody Harrelson and Ayo Edebiri. Fearn is currently filming Gavin O’Connor’s Running for Apple Original Films, in which he plays a homeless high school prodigy, and is also set to appear in Alice Birch’s forthcoming Searchlight Pictures feature Sweetsick, starring Cate Blanchett.

“I want to keep chasing people who are really far away from me,” Fearn said of the roles he seeks out. “I never want to be shoved into a box. I want to bend it and see what happens – and if that means falling on my face, I’ll fall now.”

McCollough and Hernandez said Fearn’s range and approach to his work aligned with the qualities they are looking to develop around Loewe. “Spike carries something rare,” they said. “He has moved through grief, horror, comedy and romance without once flinching –and who brings to each something entirely unresolved. That live quality is what we look for.”

The partnership adds Fearn to Loewe’s expanding network of actors and creative figures as McCollough and Hernandez continue to shape the house’s identity. His selection reflects Loewe’s ongoing emphasis on creative talent whose work moves across genres and resists fixed expectations, a positioning that continues to inform the brand’s cultural presence under its current creative leadership.
