Review of Brioni Fall 2024 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Photographer Josh Olins with models Oscar Isaac
Oscar Isaac brings musicality and soulful sophistication to Brioni‘s new Fall 2024 campaign. The star and returning house ambassador was captured by photographer and director Josh Olins.
While the actor is of course best known for his dramatic range in films, the campaign explores another side of his artistic expressions: music. The film begins as Isaac plays a folk tune on guitar, then layers in banjo and eventually drums, emphasizing the joy of musical discovery and creation as the distinct musical voices come together as one. The physical act of playing music also forms a nice showcase for the collection’s design with movement in mind, while it finds aesthetic harmony with the folk soundtrack’s classic character of minimalist, soulful earthiness.
The photographs, meanwhile, balance out the sonic motion of the film with their tranquil stillness, quietly carrying forward the house’s consistent approach of portraiture that offers a subtle look at cinematic personalities.
The campaign finds a nice balance of finding new ways to draw on the talent behind its familiar face while furthering the brand’s steady and cohesive practice of poised portraiture.
