CARTIER IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE ANNA SAWAI AS ITS LATEST AMBASSADOR

Cartier Names Anna Sawai as Latest Brand Ambassador

The Actor and Rising Star is the Latest Face to Join Cartier’s Growing Roster

Cartier has announced that actress Anna Sawai is the newest addition to its roster of ambassadors. Sawai first collaborated with the jewelry brand last May when she helped unveil Cartier’s new High Jewelry collection, Nature Sauvage, in Vienna. To mark the continuation of her partnership with Cartier, Sawai wore High Jewelry earrings and a Reflection de Cartier ring to the 76th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, where she took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in Shōgun.

Shōgun has been a massive success, receiving 25 Emmy nominations across all categories. Its premiere set viewership records on Disney+ and Hulu, cementing Sawai’s status as a rising star in the entertainment industry.

Sawai’s film and television credits include a starring role in F9, the ninth installment of Universal Pictures’ blockbuster Fast and the Furious franchise, directed by Justin Lin. She is also currently featured in the second season of Apple TV+’s Pachinko, an adaptation of the 2017 best-selling novel that spans four generations of a Korean immigrant family. Sawai is set to appear next in the second season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, also on Apple TV+.

“I am very proud to become a Cartier ambassador,” Sawai said in a statement. “For me, the Maison represents a world of creativity that constantly pushes the boundaries, exploring the beauty of savoir-faire and cultivating an original gaze on the world. Wearing these creations feels like stepping into a dream.”
