Review of Courrèges Holiday 2025 Ad Campaign by Creative Director of Agency X with Photographer Sam Rock with models Elodie Guipaud
At a moment when fashion imagery often strains for narrative excess, Courrèges continues to argue for reduction as a form of confidence. The Holiday 2025 campaign under Nicolas Di Felice advances that position with striking clarity. The idea is spare yet loaded, the body in dialogue with a singular form, suggesting balance, tension, and control as contemporary luxury values.
Photographed by Sam Rock, the imagery leans into sculptural restraint. The oversized sphere becomes both anchor and counterweight, allowing the model to stretch, perch, recline, and suspend herself in moments that feel studied rather than performative. Movement is present, but disciplined. Each pose reads as an exploration of gravity, symmetry, and resistance, echoing Courrèges’ long-standing fascination with the body as architecture.
What resonates most is how little the campaign asks for interpretation. Di Felice’s vision remains consistent, bodies are strong, garments are precise, and space is treated as an active participant. The minimal styling and monochrome palette sharpen the focus, reinforcing a house language that favors clarity over ornament, and confidence over decoration. It’s an approach that feels particularly attuned to a consumer increasingly fluent in fashion’s codes, and less interested in spectacle for its own sake.
This Holiday chapter doesn’t attempt to redefine Courrèges. It refines it. By holding the line on form, discipline, and physical presence, the campaign reinforces the house’s belief that modernity lives in control, in tension, and in knowing exactly when to stop.
