Exclusive Collaboration with Nas and Futura for BEAT 010 Series
Farfetch, the global luxury fashion platform, partnered with rapper Nas and artist Futura to launch FARFETCH BEAT 010, marking the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop.
For this special edition, Nas has assembled an exclusive 12on12 vinyl collection, showcasing the 12 paramount Hip Hop tracks spanning five decades. Complementing this, Futura lends his artistic expertise by contributing the cover art, titled “Future Look For Flash,” which illustrates a robotic DJ at work.
The event took place in the garden of Amant, a Brooklyn-based non-profit arts organization. Guests were entertained with a DJ set by Stretch Armstrong and enjoyed a unique dining experience inspired by the chosen Hip Hop tracks, curated by the culinary collective Ghetto Gastro, founded by Jon Gray, Pierre Serrao, and Lester Walker.
Among the esteemed attendees were Nas, Futura, Timbaland, Jeff Koons, Brian Donnelly (KAWS), and many other influencers from the art, music, and fashion sectors.
The Farfetch Beat initiative is a unique retail series offering exclusive product experiences to worldwide audiences. Its tenth edition commemorates Hip Hop’s 50-year journey, spotlighting its profound global influence, and features a collaboration between Nas, Futura, and the lifestyle brand 12on12.
The BEAT 010 collection will be available exclusively on Farfetch.com and at Stadium Goods. It includes 500 curated vinyl records, a limited edition of 20 hand-finished vinyl records signed by both artists, and a limited edition of 12 art prints, hand-finished by Futura and endorsed by Nas.
