Fendi exudes power, poise, and glam in a new women’s campaign for Spring 2022. The campaign features creative direction from Ronnie Cooke Newhouse and Karl Bolander with photography by Craig McDean.
Drawing on the collection’s aesthetic of disco-age glamor and splendor, the campaign casts its diverse group of five top models – Rianne Van Rompaey, Barbara Valente, Vittoria Ceretti, Anok Yai, and Yilan Hua – as ethereal, powerful, larger-than-life disco goddesses.
With their hair blowing in the timeless breeze of a high-powered fan, the film sees these muses strut their stuff in front of dreamily colorful backgrounds, as slow-motion and camera-flash effects affirm the sense of supermodel stardom.
Meanwhile, McDean’s photographs take shape as both individual and group compositions against a candy-colored backdrop, emphasizing the mood and message of harmonious, powerful femininity.
